Post Peel Instructions

After treatment skin may appear sun burnt, "frosted", or pink. Your skin may also feel tighter and be more sensitive, sometimes skin may appear darker (temporary) in a day or so.
Skin sloughing or flaking usually occurs in 2-10 days, and occasionally breakouts may appear (for up to 7 days).
Apply the after peel moisturizer that comes with your treatment liberally when your skin feels dry.
Apply the sun block that comes with your treatment 2-3 times per day, and any time you go outside.
Avoid sun exposure as much as possible, your skin is especially sensitive to sunlight after a peel, making you more prone to scarring and hyper pigmentation, especially if skin is peeling.
DO NOT exfoliate your skin for at least 3 days
DO NOT pick off flaking skin - can lead to scarring.
Avoid Retinols on your skin for at least 3 days.
No laser treatments, facial, or botox fillers for 2 weeks.
If you have a history of cold sores, oral anti-viral medication is recommenced for 5-7 days prior to the peel.
